Formation of Grand Lodge of Western India

Three regularly warranted lodges of Grand Lodge of Upper India – Lodge Excelsior No. 6 (GLUI), Lodge King Solomon No. 10 (GLUI) and Lodge Perfect Ashlar No. 13 (GLUI) –meeting at Mumbai, at their separate meetings, unanimously resolved to form an independent sovereign Grand Lodge of Western India with jurisdiction over the western region of India, comprising the states of Gujarat, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh, and to become its foundation lodges. Such a Petition for consecration and constitution of Grand Lodge of Western India was made to the Grand Lodge of Upper India. It was considered and recommended for acceptance by the Grand Board, and approved by M.W.Bro. Dr. Pritam Singh Egan, Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Upper India.

The Grand Lodge of Western India was consecrated and constituted by the Grand Lodge of Upper India at Mumbai on 8th April 2001. The consecration ceremony was conducted by M.W.Bro. Dr. Narender Vasishta, O.S.M., founder Grand Master and ably assisted by M.W.Bro. Dr. Pritam Singh Egan, Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Upper India, M.W.Bro. Ajit Singh Ranauta (Immediate Past Grand Master), M.W.Bro. Dr. V.P.Subbian (Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of South India) and R.W.Bro. Vinod Kumar Suri (as Chaplain).

M.W.Bro. Dr. Pritam Singh Egan, O.S.M., Grand Master of Grand Lodge of Upper India, installed M.W.Bro. Virendra Bhogilal Shah, O.S.M., son of M.W.Bro. Bhogilal C. Shah (Grand Master of Grand Lodge of India from 1961 to 1969) as the founder Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Western India. R.W.Bro. Kamaldeep Singh was installed as the Deputy Grand Master, R.W.Bro. Veeramani S.Iyer as the Assistant Grand Master, R.W.Bro. Parmanand P.Sampat as Senior Grand Warden and R.W.Bro. Snehal Virendra Shah as Junior Grand Warden. R.W.Bro. Surendra Kumar Shah was invested as founder Grand Secretary.

2. Lodge Kailash Nath Tiwari No. 12 (GLUI)
3. Lodge Bharat Ratna No. 17 (GLUI)
4. Lodge Pride of Oudh No. 18 (GLUI)
5. Lodge Past Masters Research No. 19 (GLUI)

meeting at Kanpur & Lucknow in the state of Uttar Pradesh, unanimously resolved to form an independent sovereign Grand Lodge of Eastern India with jurisdiction over the Eastern Region of India, comprising the states of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Orrisa, West Bengal, Assam and Eastern Hill States, and to become its foundation lodges. A Petition for consecration and constitution of Grand Lodge of Eastern India was made to the Grand Lodge of Upper India. It was considered and recommended for acceptance by the Grand Board, and approved by M.W.Bro. Dr. Pritam Singh Egan, Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Upper India.

M.W.Bro. Dr. Pritam Singh Egan installed M.W.Bro. Om Nath Kapoor, O.S.M., as the founder Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Eastern India. R.W.Bro. Kapil Dev was installed as the Deputy Grand Master, R.W.Bro. Dr. N. Venugopalakrishna as Senior Grand Warden and R.W.Bro. Surendra Kumar as Junior Grand Warden. R.W.Bro. V.Mull was invested as founder Grand Secretary.

Formation de La Grande Loge de l’Inde du Sud

Le T.R. Frère Dr. Narender Vasishta, Grand Maître Fondateur de la Grande Loge de l’Inde du Nord, accompagné par le T.R. Frère Iqbal Singh Ranauta, Adjoint Grand Maître, et d’autres Anciens franc-maçons, ont visité Coimbatore en Inde du Sud le 26 Mai 1995 et ont consacré trois loges sous la juridiction de la Grande Loge de l’Inde du Sud nommément :

1. La Loge G.K.Devarajulu No. 14 (GLUI)
2. La Loge Concord No. 15 (GLUI)
3. La Loge Meridian No. 16 (GLUI)

Ces trois loges, dans leurs réunions indépendantes, ont unanimement résolu de former une Grande Loge de l’Inde du Sud, Indépendante et Souveraine et de devenir ses loges fondatrices. Une pétition à cet effet, a été faite et acceptée par la Grande Loge de l’Inde du Nord. Le 27 Mai 1995, le T.R. Frère Dr. Narender Vasishta et son équipe de Grands Officiers ont consacré la Grande Loge de l’Inde du Sud dans le Temple Maçonique de Coimbatore, avec juridiction sur les Etats de Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh et Pondicherry. Ceci étant fait selon la procédure préconisée par la Grande Loge Unie d’Angleterre dans son Livre de Constitution, établissant ainsi sa régularité d’origine. Le T.R. Frère N.R.Doraiswami, O.S.M., fut installé comme Grand Maître fondateur, le T.R. Frère M.R.Venkataraman comme Adjoint Grand Maître et le T.R. Frère K. Sathianathan, Grand Secrétaire fondateur.

Formation de La Grande Loge de l’Inde de l’Ouest

Trois Loges régulièrement constituées de la Grande Loge de l’Inde du Nord - La Loge Excelsior No. 6 (GLUI), la Loge King Solomon No. 10 (GLUI) et la Loge Perfect Ashlar No. 13 (GLUI), dans leurs réunions indépendantes à Mumbai, ont unanimement résolu de former la Grande Loge de l’Inde de l’Ouest, Indépendante et Souveraine avec juridiction sur la région ouest de l’Inde, comprenant les Etats de Gujarat, Maharashtra et Madhya Pradesh, et de devenir ses loges fondatrices. Une pétition a été faite à la Grande Loge de l’Inde du Nord. Elle fut recommandée pour acceptation par le Conseil Fédéral et approuvée par le T.R. Frère Dr. Pritam Singh Egan, Grand Maître de la Grande Loge de l’Inde du Nord.

Le 02 Avril 2001 La Grande Loge de l’Inde d l’Ouest a été constitué et consacré par la Grande loge de l’Inde du Nord à Mumbai. La cérémonie de consécration fut dirigée par le T.R. Frère Dr. Narender Vasishta, O.S.M., Grand Maître fondateur assisté du T.R. Frère Dr. Pritam Singh Egan, Grand Maître de la Grande Loge de l’Inde du Nord, du T.R. Frère Ajit Singh Ranauta (ançien Grand Maître), du T.R. Frère. Dr. V.P.Subbian (Grand Maître de la Loge de l’Inde du sud) et du T.R. Frère Vinod Kumar Suri (comme Hospitalier « Aumonier »).

Le T.R. Frère Dr. Pritam Singh Egan, O.S.M, Grand Maître de la Grande Loge de l’Inde du Nord a installé le T.R. Frère Virendra Bhogilal Shah, O.S.M., fils du T.R. Frère Bhogilal C. Shah (Grand Maître de la Grande Loge de l’Inde de 1961 à 1969), comme le Grand maître fondateur de la Grande Loge de l’Inde de l’Ouest.

Le T.R. Frère Kamaldeep Singh fut installé Adjoint Grand Maître, le T.R. Frère Veeramani S.Iyer comme Assistant Grand Maître, le T.R. Frère Parmanand P.Sampat comme Premier Grand Surveillant et le T.R. Frère Snehal Virendra Shah comme Second Grand Surveillant,et le T.R. Frère Surendra Kumar Shah comme Grand Secrétaire fondateur.

Formation de La Grande Loge de l’Inde de l’Est

Cinq Loges régulièrement constituées de la Grande Loge de l’Inde du Nord :

se réunissant à Kanpur et à Lucknow dans l’Etat de Uttar Pradesh, ont unanimement résolu de former une Grande Loge de l’Inde de l’Est, Indépendante et Souveraine, avec juridiction sur la région Est de l’Inde, y compris les Etats de Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Orrisa, West Bengal, Assam et les Etats des collines de L’Est, et de devenir ses loges fondatrices. Une pétition pour la constitution et la consécration de la Grande Loge de l’Inde de L’Est fut faite à la Grande Loge de l’Inde du Nord. Elle fut recommandé pour acceptation par le Conseil Fédéral et accordé par le T.R. Frère Dr. Pritam Singh Egan, Grand Maître de la Grande Loge de l’Inde du Nord.

Le 04 Août 2001 La Grande Loge de l’Inde de L’Est a été constitué et consacré par la Grande Loge de l’Inde du Nord à Lucknow. La cérémonie de consécration fut dirigée par le T.R. Frère Dr. Narender Vasishta, O.S.M., Grand Maître fondateur assisté du T.R. Frère Dr. Pritam Singh Egan, Grand Maître de la Grande Loge de l’Inde du Nord, du T.R.Frère Ajit Singh Ranauta (ançien Grand Maître), du T.R. Frère K. Alagiriswamy (Grand Maître de la Grande Loge de l’Inde du Sud), du T.R. Frère Virendra Bhogilal Shah (Grand Maître de la Grande Loge de l’Inde de l’Ouest) et du T.R. Frère Vinod Kumar Suri (comme Hospitalier « Aumonier »).
